English and French Language Training
Build the language skills you need for your Canadian future
Language proficiency can play an important role in many Canadian immigration programs. A stronger English or French test score may help improve your Express Entry ranking, increase your eligibility for certain programs, and make it easier to adapt to life in Canada.
Our language training programs are designed to help you prepare for recognized language tests while developing practical skills for studying, working, and living in Canada.
Language Tests for Canadian Immigration
Prepare for the Language Test That Matches Your Immigration Strategy
Canadian immigration programs may require applicants to demonstrate their English or French language ability through an approved language test.
For Express Entry, accepted tests include:
English
- IELTS General Training
- CELPIP-General
- PTE Core
French
- TEF Canada
- TCF Canada
Test results are converted into Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels for English or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) for French.
Rather than preparing without a clear objective, we help you understand the language level relevant to your immigration pathway so that your training can be built around a realistic target.

Frequently asked questions about Language Training
Which language tests are accepted for Canadian immigration?
For Express Entry, IRCC accepts IELTS General Training, CELPIP-General and PTE Core for English, as well as TEF Canada and TCF Canada for French. The required test and language level depend on the immigration program you are applying through.
Should I study English or French for Canadian immigration?
This depends on your current language level, immigration pathway, and overall profile. English is commonly used as a first official language, but strong French results can also provide valuable immigration opportunities and, in some cases, additional Express Entry points.
Can I take the classes online?
Yes. Live online classes let students study from outside Canada. In-person training is also available in Montréal for students who prefer classroom-based learning.
Do I need to know my target CLB before starting?
No. We can assess your current level and objectives before you begin training. If you are also receiving immigration advice from Great Start Canada, your language target can be considered as part of your broader immigration strategy.
Do you guarantee that I will achieve my target score?
No language school or immigration professional can guarantee a specific test result. Your final score depends on your language ability, preparation, test-day performance, and other individual factors. Our goal is to provide structured preparation and help you work toward the level you need.
Are official language test fees included in the course price?
No. You book and pay for official tests separately through the authorized testing organization. Course fees cover language instruction and the services specified in your selected training package.
