The Manitoba government has just announced a two-year Manitoba-specific work permit extension for eligible Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) candidates! ποΈ
Starting April 22, 2025, individuals whose work permits:
β Expired in 2024 or
β Will expire in 2025,
And who are currently employed in Manitoba and intend to become permanent residents, will be able to apply for a Manitoba-issued support letter under a temporary public policy.

β Help more skilled workers and families remain in Manitoba
β Provide much-needed stability during the nomination process
β Support local employers and address labour shortages
